I first discovered Taxicode when I was looking for a driver to help me take my son to the University of Brighton in September 2020. I was impressed with the service - the driver was based in Brighton so knew the exact location of the destination, though I did find the cost a bit high.
Nevertheless, this experience led me to book my hospital appointment with Taxicode. Not only was I surprised by the cost of the journey, albeit I had agreed to pay for it, but the driver was not of the local area.
As a result, I will not choose to book Taxi Code again. If I am to pay a premium, I expect a driver who knows the area.
